The Story

An early 'suit-case' style valve combo amp from Moody circa 1950 featuring a single 1x12 MSP speaker. Rated at about a single watt, this one is surprisingly loud - perhaps not gig-suitable but a fantastically character-driven recording amplifier that sounds great with humbuckers and single coils. Controls for Tone and Volume. 240 volts. Made in Sydney, Australia.

Also includes a beautiful Moody made lapsteel guitar, believed to be either late '40s or '50s made for erstwhile music retailer Stanley Johnston in Sydney way back when. With an eye-catching red & white paint job, the guitar features a single coil pickup with controls for tone and volume. The original bobbin has been replaced and rewound.

Includes array of vintage guitar lesson/music books.
